Tim Gerland

Mr. Gerland, currently Senior Vice President of

ShorelineHudson, holds degrees from Long Island University and an MBA from St.

Joseph’s University. Following six years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard, he

joined Hudson before the implementation of the Oil Pollution Act 1990 (OPA’90)

in 1992. He has since held multiple roles, specializing in regulatory

compliance, marine environmental protection, and training initiatives

including managing Hudson’s plan writing and vessel inspection programs. He

designed Hudson’s web-based Vessel General Permit solution and spent seven

years leading compliance training programs from Hudson’s Oslo office, serving

Northern European and Scandinavian clients. Additionally, Mr. Gerland played a

key role in developing Hudson’s Environmental Compliance Program and audit

methodologies aligned with ISM/ISO standards and industry best practices.
