Simon Scupham is Chairman of ShorelineHudson. He took the helm of Shoreline just a few months after it commenced operations in 1995. He is both a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the “Institute of Mathematics and its Applications” and has a background in public accounting following which held several senior executive positions within the captive management industry. Simon has been integrally involved in all the major stages of Shoreline’ development including the recent strategic partnership which it entered into with Hudson Analytics.

Cynthia Hudson founder of HudsonAnalytix (Hudson Marine) serves as President of ShorelineHudson. Her background and experience includes risk management consulting, preparedness, training, compliance, incident response for more than 150 incidents including significant maritime claims as well as heavy marine underwater construction contracting for shipowners, ports and terminals, maritime insurers and government entities. She led company initiatives into international maritime security and maritime cyber offerings.

Captain Brown was appointed CEO of Shoreline in September 2018. A qualified foreign-going Master Mariner, he sailed in all ranks up to Chief Officer before transitioning to marine insurance. He spent seven years with the North of England P&I Association before founding Seacurus Ltd in 2004, an independent insurance brokerage and specialty MGA. He has a reputation for innovation in marine insurance and developing products to address emerging risks for shipowners.

Captain Marc Smith leads ShorelineHudson’s Risk division, overseeing all client risk management services. Captain Smith specializes in incident response, security, regulatory compliance, and maritime claims across global shipping and ports and terminal markets. Captain Smith is a Master Mariner with over 35 years of maritime operations and risk management experience.

Gayan Kodituwakku serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ShorelineHudson, where he oversees financial strategy, planning, and reporting. With over 20 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, Gayan ensures the company’s financial health and supports sustainable growth. In this role, Gayan partners closely with the executive team to guide long-term strategy, optimize performance, and drive value creation across the organization.
